Celebrate the mythology and artistry of ancient Egypt with this 1/2 troy ounce .999 fine silver round featuring Bastet, one of the most recognizable feline deities of the ancient Egyptian world. Created with an intentionally aged appearance, this piece combines an Egyptian-inspired design with the character of old-world coinage.

Each round is individually struck with an ultra high relief design, creating pronounced depth and dimension that brings the details of Bastet to life. An antique patina and anti-polish finish are applied to enhance the recessed areas and give each round the appearance of an ancient artifact rather than a newly produced silver piece.

Because of the individual striking and finishing process, variations in appearance are expected and contribute to the old-world character of each round. Quantities of 20 are packaged in natural linen bags with hemp drawstrings, while quantities of fewer than 20 are packaged in small zip-top bags.

Product Highlights:

  • Contains 1/2 troy ounce of .999 fine silver.
  • Features the ancient Egyptian cat goddess Bastet.
  • Individually struck with an ultra high relief design.
  • Antique patina enhances the depth and detail of the artwork.
  • Anti-polish finish creates an intentionally aged, old-world appearance.
  • Individual variations give each round its own distinctive character.
  • Inspired by the appearance and artistry of ancient coinage.
  • Quantities of 20 are packaged in a natural linen bag with hemp drawstring.
  • Quantities of fewer than 20 are packaged in a small zip-top bag.

Please Note:

These rounds are intentionally produced with an aged and antiqued appearance. Variations in strike placement, patina, coloration, surface texture, and finish are expected and are part of the individual character of each piece.

    Bastet

My wife and I have actually purchase quite a few of the half oz bastet's. Theyre a nice design that stands out from generic rounds, and we find their premiums to be very reasonable. These are great for stacking if you want a more unique stack and hate the look of "buffalo" rounds.

Unique and neat rounds. Love the idea of getting straight from the mint that made them! The bag makes it feel like ya got an ancient 'purse' to compliment your silver so now ya can shop at the ancient market.

    Egyptian Relic Pieces of Silver

Posted by Troy on Feb 10th 2025

I have recently purchased all pieces in this set by Monarch Metals and love the details and unique qualities. More than that I had a misfortune happen to me during ordering and my items got returned to sender. The quickly expedited my items and worked with me to get my items redelivered. Desiree played an important factor in these actions but the team at Monarch appears top notch to me. Highly recommend them for the service quantity along with the pricing. Thanks for knocking it out of the park....

    Egyptian Series

The 1 oz. pieces are all individually unique, but I think I like these (1/2 oz) better than those. Honestly, I enjoy the entire series, but this one is my favorite.
